3D Warehouse Visualization and Live Inventory Map: Aisle, Rack, FIFO Aging and Blocked Stock Governance

Replacing flat stock tables with a true-to-layout 3D spatial model of warehouse aisles, racks, tiers and bins to govern FIFO aging and quality-blocked inventory in real time.

Executive Summary — Key Takeaways

  • Physical warehouse aisles, rows, tiers and storage bins are mapped one-to-one with ERP/WMS bin addresses.
  • Empty, partially full, full, FIFO-aging and quality-blocked bins are immediately distinguished by color coding.
  • Clicking any bin opens an inspection drawer listing pallet/bundle barcodes, heat/batch numbers and production dates.
  • Pallet transfer stages from production line end to target warehouse racks are tracked live.

1. Moving from Tabular Stock Lists to 3D Spatial Visibility

In high-volume manufacturing plants, spotting bin occupancy bottlenecks, aisle congestion or batches sitting in back racks for months is difficult from traditional row-and-column stock reports.

The 3D Warehouse Visualization layer renders the physical warehouse geometry at 60 FPS in the browser and colors every storage bin live using ERP/WMS inventory telemetry.

2. FIFO Aging Heat Map and Quality Hold Interlock

When the aging and heat-map mode is enabled, batches exceeding target storage dwell thresholds and pallets quarantined by quality assurance are highlighted directly within the 3D scene.

Both dispatch and line-feeding teams identify priority FIFO pallets at a glance, while system interlocks prevent quarantined stock from being issued to production or shipped to customers.
